Giacomo Merello began his passion for Japanese Martial Arts of Shotokan Karate since he was a child. He later studied for many
years in Daito-ryu Aikibudo and is one of the few foreigners to hold a Japanese Diploma of this traditional art under Daitokai.Since 2007, he complemented his training with the study of the Japanese Sword arts of Kendo and Iaido and had obtained official Diplomas in both arts. His teaching style is inclusive, open, precise with occasional humour to lighten the mood and make everyone feel at ease.
